1.) Find a work of your art in your sketchbook and re-create it. You can choose something you think you did not do well at first on and re-draw it. Write about how you have grown as an artist.
I chose to recreate a sign language "A" drawing that I originally had drawn earlier in the year for a warm-up. The original drawing was the first time I did a realistic drawing and I did not know how to make the hand look realistic. Upon recreating the sign language "A", I knew a lot more about drawing realistically since we did a bunch of warm-ups dealing with it. I felt my proportions, which was something I struggled with at first, were much better while realistically drawing. And overall, I am proud of my growth in realistic drawing and over the course of the semester.
